Based on the critiques I received from my first trench dress, I went back into the lab to make improvements. My second study had to be heavier with better draping. The Trench Dress was made with a beautiful brocade, lined with wool and satin. The wool not only made this concept warmer but also gave the upper portion shape. And with another prayer to Zac Posen, my second draping practice was a success.
