Propaine Ch. 2 breathes life into the idea of the modern militant activist. The climate of America was in racial and political turmoil, and my environment, Washington D.C, was on fire. With the coronavirus pandemic putting businesses through economic struggles, people from around the nation risked their lives to voice their perspectives on this country. Thus, this project was inspired by their actions to fight police brutality and the maltreatment of African Americans, showcasing the present truth of my environment.
