Fashion is one of the few ways of bringing the world together without audio. And with the invention and evolution of the internet, almost the entire world is connected, eliminating the exclusivity of style to a region. As such, this piece was inspired by Japanese culture. The Hakama Pant was a staple item in the Japanese community while army fatigue is a staple item in the Black community. My goal was to merge the two worlds to transcend what we believe streetwear to be.
